This show is called ‘Everybody Dance Now!’ and it features many dances made by Michelle and her co-workers. We are pleased to report that Footlights also have an upcoming show at the Theatre Severn on the 21st and 22nd of March 2015. Footlights offer graded exams, shows and performances and classes are held at Mereside Community Hall in Shrewsbury and Merridale Primary School in Wolverhampton. She teaches a number of dances including ballet and boogie, tap, ballet, freestyle, musical theatre and adult freestyle as well as running boogie birthdays and hen parties. Over the past years to present day the school has grown massively, ‘by about 1/3’ says Michelle. In 2012 this school separated and Footlights began. When Footlights was founded in 2004, it was two schools joined named ‘Dance2gether’. The dance school, which is held for all ages in Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton, is run by Michelle Handley (a mum of two children, I.D.T.A associate and a qualified primary school teacher).
